The manufacturing of CBD and THC oils requires the use of vacuum distillation due to the cannabinoid’s sensitivity to extreme heat.  Vacuum is used to reduce the evaporating temperatures while preserving the valuable oils. The typical type of vacuum distillation systems is the short-path, thin film, Molecular Distillation System (MDS).  And, while the vacuum system may reduce the damaging heat, it also has constant vacuum leaks which causes the evaporating temperatures to constantly change and reduce yields.  Using the AgLAB Maximum Value Processing^TM testing method, the operator can adjust the evaporating and cooling temperatures to maximize the yields.
